What is a hotel property management system?
A hotel property management system is the software that holds reservations, room status, and the guest folio for a lodging property. Front desk, housekeeping, and payment all read that same record. Cronwick LLC makes Hostanova Pro for this job. A booking page on a website is not a property management system, because it does not run the stay after the guest arrives.

The folio is the test.
If a restaurant charge and a room charge can disagree about what the guest owes, the property does not have one system yet. Hostanova Pro puts outlet orders and the room on the guest’s folio.
Channel managers and OTAs are not the PMS.
Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb, and Expedia send you reservations. The PMS is where those reservations become a room assignment and a bill. Hostanova Pro can optionally import some of those emails. The import page explains the limit.
