WhatsApp automation
Can AI voice agents call leads in the United States?
Only with the consent US calling law requires. On February 8, 2024, the FCC ruled that an AI-generated voice is an artificial voice under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Marketing calls that use an artificial voice generally need prior express written consent. Cronwick LLC makes Voxomate, which can place an optional voice follow-up. Turning it on does not create that consent. This is not legal advice.
Cronwick LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, makes Voxomate for WhatsApp automation and Hostanova Pro for hotel management.

The FCC put AI voices in the existing robocall rule.
The declaratory ruling does not create a new statute. It says the TCPA’s existing limits on artificial or prerecorded voice calls cover voices generated by AI. Read the ruling before you treat a voice agent as an ordinary live call.
A WhatsApp chat is not written consent for a phone call.
Consent is specific. Someone who messaged your WhatsApp number did not, by that act, agree to a marketing call. Voxomate keeps the chat and the optional call as separate steps. You still have to have the right permission for the call.
Some states add their own telephone-solicitation rules.
Florida and Texas are examples, covered on the state rules page. A federal consent form does not automatically mention a state registration duty.
Voxomate is the Cronwick LLC product for this job. Its own terms govern an account there.
